Additionally, a Can Crusher was installed at the event venue to collect used aluminium cans and return them to a Closed Loop Recycling system, where the same cans can be endlessly recycled into new ones. This process helps reduce landfill waste, conserves natural resources, lowers energy consumption in production, and tangibly decreases greenhouse gas emissions. Proceeds from the cans recycled at the event will be donated through the “Recycle for Life” initiative to support the work of the Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H. the Princess Mother, contributing to assistance for people with disabilities.
